We, at Prairie Sunset Shih Tzu, have specialized in raising Shih Tzu since 2002 and strive to better the breed thru genetics and the care given to our Pets.

We raise only AKC Champion Bloodline puppies, and have several AKC Champion Sires and Dams. Prices will depend on Parentage, Sex, Colors and Conformation.

We want to provide puppies to Good PET HOMES ONLY-No Breeding! We Sell our Puppies with Spay/Neuter Contracts, and require that this be completed by 6 months of age. AKC Limited Registration will be provided to you after Spay/Neuter verification from your vet has been sent back to us. Puppies that are Champion Sired Males will be neutered before leaving.

All necessary shots/de-wormings will be up to date, dew claws removed, puppies will have been vet checked, and written health guarantee is provided.

We choose to follow the American Shih Tzu Club recommendation of keeping our puppies to at least 12 weeks of age before sending them to their new homes, so they have time to develop socially, are eating solid food well, and to get the shot/de-worming protocol completed that we feel is best for them. We send plenty of the food they are eating to last a couple weeks, feeding instructions, and where it can be purchased. They are also started on potty pad training, which can be easily transitioned to going outside.
